Verrückte Anziehpuppen -Whimsical Paper Dolls

These paper beauties are made from a digital collage sheet I designed for my Dawanda Shop. The sheet can be printed as often as you want, and then you can start playing with these whimsical paper dolls, embellish them, combine them any way you want. Ideal for scrapbooking, card design, altered art and mixed media projects!

Ottos Mops hopst! - Ottos Pug jumps!

Heute gibt es ein Sammelsurium von eigenen Kunstprojekten und Stock-Bildern, die ich vor kurzem bei Flickr und DeviantArt hochgeladen habe.

Bauklötze
Oben seht ihr mein Kunstprojekt für die Barbara Brennan School of Healing Europe, in der ich seit letzten September meine Fortbildung mache. Jedes Jahr sollen wir dort ein Kunstprojekt erstellen, und ich habe eines meiner Lieblingsmaterialien genommen - Bauklötze :-) Dazu habe ich kleine Bilder von meinen eigenen Kunstwerken, antike Bauklotz-Buchstaben von Tim Holtz sowie Bilder aus dem Internet auf Laserdrucker ausdrucken lassen, zurechtgeschnitten und mit Decoupage-Leim auf die Holzbauklötze geklebt. Zum Schluss bin ich noch einmal mit Distress Inks drübergegangen.

Building Blocks
Above you can see my art project for the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Europe, the school I started in last September. Each year we are supposed to make an art project, and I used one of my favorite materials for this one - toy blocks! I took little images from my own art works, antique toy block letters by Tim Holtz and various images, printed them out on a laser printer, cut them and glued them onto the blocks with decoupage glue. I finished them with Distress Inks.

Otto´s Pug Jumps
This is a digital collage made in Gimp, using a delightfully weird pug paper doll from Etsy´s Liz Wiley. The poem is from Ernst Jandl, an Austrian poet. The poem is hard to translate, because all words contain only one vowel, "O", but there was a contest recently, where you can find various translations which are rather funny, too.

Alice im Wunderland
Ich habe nun den Film endlich im Kino gesehen, und war völlig hin und weg von der Ausstattung und den Kostümen. Es ist zu dem Thema auch schon ein neues Projekt in Arbeit!

Inspiriert von der Tee-Party, habe ich ein paar kostenlose Stock-Bilder in meinen Accounts hochgeladen, z.B. hier.

Alice in Wonderland
I finally saw the movie, and was really delighted about the whole design and the costumes. I already have some Alice-themed work in progress :-) Inspired by the tea-party, I made some tea-cup stock images, which are provided for free here.


Künstertauschkarten - Digitale Zusammenarbeit
Hogret auf DeviantArt hat ein Projekt für Künstlertauschkarten gestartet, bei dem man vorhandene Hintergründe bearbeitet und ein oder zwei Ebenen hinzufügt. Ich habe mehrere Hintergründe in Gimp gestaltet und diese zur Verfügung gestellt. Hier sind meine beiden Favoriten:

Artist Trading Card Digital Jam
Hogret on DeviantArt started a Digital Jam project for Artist Trading Cards, where you can use premade backgrounds and add your own layer or two to it. I contributed a bunch of backgrounds I made with Gimp. Here are two of my favourites. So much for today!
