Noch mehr Kunstkarten!

So, ich habe das Wochenende genutzt, um mein erstes ACEO/ATC-Design zu überarbeiten. ACEO steht für Art Cards, Editions and Originals, also Kunstkarten, Editionen und Originale, ATC für Artist Trading Cards, Künstlertauschkarten. ATCs werden getauscht, ACEOs verkauft.

Anstatt eine festere Karte mit Fimo zu umhüllen, habe ich das Fimo zuerst bestempelt und dann im ATC-Format zurechtgeschnitten. Das hat den Vorteil, dass die Karten sich nicht verformt haben. Ich habe mich mit meinen Stempeln erstmal ausgetobt, und Folgendes ist dabei herausgekommen:

Instead of wrapping the Fimo/Polymer clay around a cardboard, I first stamped the clay and then cut it to ATC-size. The advantage is that the final card is flat instead of bent. I got into a stamps frenzy, and this is the result:

Fimo Tauschkarte/Kunstkarte

Ich habe mich ja schon ein paarmal an ATCs, Künster-Tauschkarten, versucht, und dachte, es wäre nett, so etwas mal mit Fimo zu machen. Gesagt, getan! Als Hintergrund habe ich einen Pizzakarton auf das ATC-Format zurechtgeschnitten, diesen dann mit einer Schicht Fimo umhüllt und gestempelt. Nach dem Backen erhielt das Ganze eine Patina aus Acrylfarbe (gebranntes Sienna).

I have already tried my hands at making ATCs, and thought it would be a neat idea to make an ATC from Fimo/Polymer clay. I used some cardboard from a pizza box to cut out ATC-sized cards, then covered the front with polymer clay (white with a little bit of yellow). I took some artist stamps to impress the clay, and antiqued it after baking with burnt siena acrylic paint.
